This was for a spoof commercial filmed for the Jackson Addy Awards presentation in 1995. The product was Duck on Bike, from the Bejing Toy Company. They claimed that the wind-up tin toy was so popular in China, it made "Godzilla cry". (Nevermind that Godzilla was a Japanese creation.)
Anyway, this began as a magic marker drawing on a piece of notebook paper, which, though hard to believe, was much funnier.
