Clay's blog

My site has a great personality.

Yes, my site is ugly. Not only that, but it doesn't work the way I want it to. It's built using the Drupal content management system framework, and if you know anything about Drupal, it's like the cockpit of a 747. There's very little "out of the box" functionality with Drupal - you pretty much have to customize everything. So I reached a point in the design where I said to myself, "I need a break. I think I'll go get a cookie." And I'm still eating that cookie.

My site is codependent

My site has issues. It apparently needs me to hold its hand, tell it what to display, give it text and illustrations, push buttons, check boxes...ugh. It's such a chore to move my wrist and flex my first finger downward. All I can ask is that you remain patient while my site and I receive counseling. Hopefully it will get its act together and start doing stuff on its own accord so I can continue being lazy.

Updates Ahoy!

You heard it right...the sleeping giant has awoken. And if all goes according to plan, I will be uploading new updates and content to the site in the next few days. Our family is going vacationing in sunny (hopefully) Florida, and I'm going to be conducting an experiment with my Android phone - to see if I can update the site completely from my phone. So while I'm getting sunburned and mocked by small children, I'll also be doing something productive for all my peeps out there. And yes, if you're reading this, you're one of my peeps. I have very low standards.
